Not that far off, cut the two fatter pair of red wires on that little tan box thing, snip them don't splice them. connect the pair of red wires that goes back to the wire harness to the black wire of the black and red pair stuck together, and connect the other side you cut to the red wire of the black and red pair of the wotbox, the wotbox should be the only thing connecting those wires to the car.

here is a professional schematic i drew for you if that doesn't make sense.

the wotbox goes between there not spliced into there, so you are connecting the two red wires to the one wire of the wotbox on each side.

Just read through the install directions and saw this. I understand everything so far except where does the single red wot box wire thats by itself go?

Figured it out, there is only one red wire which is part of the red/black pair, instructions are a little confuzing/misleading at this step reads like there is another red wot box wire by itself. It would help if i had the wot box in front of me lol.

K please someone help me! I am getting soooo frustrated with this little blue shit box...I got a serial cable today and tried to use the software to get it working again but still had NO luck! I downloaded every driver and I just don't know wtf I am missing...I can't find the com port that the serial cable is connected to. If you have any ideas for me throw them out.

Is the cable serial to usb or serial to serial? If it's serial to serial there's 2 different types of cables, one is a null modem cable and I can't think of the other type. Basically one has a pair of wires crossed inside and won't work.

If it's a serial to usb cable you'll need to reach out to the manufacturer of the cable for drivers.

Did you load the drivers for the cable that came with your box?

When I hook mine up it usually shows up as either com 7 or com 9. You need to hook the cable up before loading the software and also make sure your key in the car is in the on position so the wotbox is powered up.

Got it all figured out guys it was a shitty cable! I got it set at 4k but what do yall think I should set it at for the 15s and nitto dr's 275/50? And maybe a good starting psi? first time to the track tomm!

My mt streets are good at 18psi and the 2 step is set at 5k with a quick slip.

Anyone know if the pins on the WOTBOX that are used for the shift light are also used for the data cable to hook to your laptop? I would like to wire up a shift light to the WOTBOX but I also like keeping my serial to usb cable hooked up to the WOTBOX as well.

The shift/warning light on my Interceptor gauge just doesn't cut it when racing so it's time for something a little more BLATANT!!!

You would use a extra serial cable and just unplug the shiftlight when you wanna update the box . Pretty sure

I'm thinking I may just get a serial connector, figure out what pins the usb connections go to and solder them in and then solder the shift light wires to the connector as well. I have my wotbox tucked up under my dash and don't feel like (yeah, I'm lazy) going under there every time I want to make a change.

How often do you think you will need to change it? It should really only take one time to know where you want to launch and what rpm you want a shift light at.

I always just change mine by pressing in the clutch and holding down the little black button, it only takes a minute or so. I don't even use the shift light part of it.

When you guys are at the track, when do you start the 2 step, Ive tried it twice now after both cars are staged, but it seems like that is to long and it fouls the plugs.
