Setting PSI on a PD blower is easy/simple. Just choose the pulleys accordingly and you're set.

Its just a bummer to have to limit the PSI to 10-12 PSI for pump gas.
Having a 1000HP motor to only limit it to 600HP. sigh. lol
(Yes, I complain a lot about this...I just had my hopes up) I need a bigger motor... Like a 6.0L. lol LS1 anyone??? LOL

So I ordered this tool from Innovators West and I am very disappointed to say that its useless for removing the balancer.

I had to use my cheap $15 pulley remover from AutoZone to remove it.
The damn tool didn't even come with the correct bolts to screw into the balancer. All its good for is for installation. What the??? $125 really??

Ohhhhh you wanted the removal/install tool! I thought you just wanted the INSTALL tool! The remove/install tool is $375. No returns on tools, store credit only!

I just called Innovators West and they just told me their tool is only for installation on mod motors. sigh

So good thing I had a cheap $15 remover... lol
$125 hurts just for an installer...which I now realize my balancer may not have been fully seated on the last motor build. Good thing it only ran for 1,000 miles. lol

It does beat $375 though...

One weird this they told me was that applying gasket maker on the keyways is not required... They did emphasize on the use of anti-seize on the crank snout and the balancer. Thats when I asked about the gasket maker on the keyways. The anti-seize will definitely interfere with the gasket maker.

Any thoughts? I guess you could always make sure your washer has a coat of gasket maker and use that as a seal for any potential oil seepage from the balancer/crank.

I like the idea of a little anti seize. I would also appreciate not having to futz around with the rtv or gasket maker.

You could anti seize most of the thing, then gasket make the rest.

They are tight, really tight, we don't use sealant on IW as we do on other balancers.

I use anti seize on the snout and keyways and then use RTV on the back of the ARP balancer bolt nut to seal.

I used the tool tonight, again useless until you are 3/4 onto the crank. The threaded adapter part does not reach the crank until the balancer is 3/4 of the way on.

What the fudge!!??

Going to call tomorrow and see if they sold me the wrong adapter. Sigh

Just spoke with Innovators West... I got the wrong adapter. I need the GT500 "extended" adapter. sigh

Balancer is installed!! I'm going to remove the crank sensor and slide in my borescope camera and make sure its fully seated against the timing gears and crank sensor wheel before I lock and load it with the installation bolt.

Boy, using that anti-seize stuff made it slide onto the crank like butter!!
I guess lube is a good thing... LOL

One thing I am super excited and ecstatic about is the new VMP Tuning GenII blower!! You can R&R the plugs without removing the throttle body!!

Something us ROUSH blower guys absolutely find frustrating!!

Installed the drive system... 3.0" upper pulley and 6.55". I previously had the 3.0" and a 7.40" that made 14 PSI. Lets see how much the slower setup makes.

Here is the Venom Cooler setup; hose and fittings:

You splice these into your coolant hoses (supercharger coolant).

I did on Sunday; did one static heat cycle and two loaded (road) heat cycles.

Tomorrow going to Brad's Custom Auto to remote tune with Lito.
