So, you know how somethings are just too good to be true? Well, my latest order from AM is/was just that! But, I took a chance anyway and it was a fail on AM’s part. I knew it was a crapshoot to start and took the chance. Now I have a real conundrum on my hands!
Here’s the story. When I purchased this car I knew it would need at least one, maybe 2 wheels. The right front was destroyed, the left front was ok. 20x10 rear, 19x9.5 front. I figured I’d do a little touch up on the rears and replace the fronts with 20x10s because I like a square setup. It has Black AM wheels so I start looking on their website the other day. I find 2 - 20x10 “open box” for $130 bucks a piece! That’s about 1/2 price. I decide to take chance and order them because worse case scenario they have a few scratches. Nope, not worst case! They came in yesterday and got to open them up tonight after work. The wheels are absolutely gorgeous, with only very minor blemishes on the back lip that will never be seen. However, only one of them turned out to be 20x10. The other one is 19x10!
So, now I have to decide if I want to send back the 19x10 and get another 20x10 at full price, or visa versa.
