I know what you were doing. Fortunately, I don't pop my hood to show people how bulky and obtrusive my motor is.
BLKBULLITT, yes that is an LS3 in my engine bay. LS3's came in Corvette's, Camaro's, CTS-V's, and Pontiac G8's.

I dont think it ever came in a ctsv. LS6, LS2, LSA (supercharged engine). I had an 09 vette, the LS3 is a great engine!

You're correct, GM never put the LS3 in a CTSv.

if i was going to pour money into a swap, i would put a BBF in. Sence you want to see the advantages of an ls3 over a 3v, but considering the cost of everything that means you must be shooting for over 1k hp right? Since all you need is about 10k to build a VERY stout 3v
