When I went to the trunk mounted fuel cell I used an external pump (A1000) with no float in the tank. I made up resistor plugs for the level sensors so it wouldn't show empty and the low fuel message. It reads about 1/2 tank all the time, I don't really take mine out cruising all that much so fuel level isn't that important to me....just didn't want the low fuel message.

I would think you could make a resistor plug for the passenger side float and still get a somewhat accurate level reading off of just the float on your fuel hat but I'm not sure, the ECU may not like seeing the two levels being to far apart. I can't remember what size resistors I used but I can dig through my notes and find out if you want. Good luck.....looks good!!

looking good Billy. when u gonna make a hit ?

Some time in March, I have a big job starting soon that is going to slow things down to one day a week to work on the car.

That was my next thing to try. Last night I tried crossing the wires back and forth that go to the sending unit to no avail

Looks great Billy! Excited for you Brother.
Thanks, I am really excited about this round!

I am being very careful this time to take my time and set the car up the way it needs to be.

Its going to be a fun year!

Do you run a BMR Anti-Roll Bar? Rear wheel studs?

Dang, I was hoping to get some feedback on running that on the street and track results.

Any advice on the c-clip eliminators? What brand? What works best(ei stock axles, stock brakes or not)?

My only experience is with the Strange c clip eliminators with Moser axles and I have had a no issues with them to date.

I'm running the strange pro series axles with c clip eliminators and wheel studs. works great for me on the street and track without issues, I'm on stock brakes for now.

Update

Still waiting for the SCE copper gaskets to ship so I can o-ring the block. I stripped the pipes, valve covers, and JPC intake for recoating. I will see if they will help me out on the cost of coating the intake since, while sand blasting it I found that they didn't take it to the aluminum to coat. They just scuffed up the original powder coating and recoated.I need to wait to send everything to Polydn to be recoated till I know if the pistons will need a exhaust valve relief or not.

I dropped the head with the hole at a local shop to have it repaired and the head and the welded up delete plates will get decked and the valve seats ground.

I am close to getting the fuel cell, pump, and factory gauge working together just need a little help from a few of you electrical gurus around here.

I posted here in this thread that I found while searching.

Found out that the SCE copper head gaskets finally shipped yesterday. They were suppose to ship on 12/24/13! Looks like I will get to finally get to o-ring the block this weekend. I did a little work this evening as well.

I made some sheet metal covers for the holes for the stock tank from 22ga paint grip metal. They are set in sealant and pop riveted. Just need to hit them with some primer on both sides this weekend.

Then I made a cover for the gas filler opening. It will eventually get fitted with a Pos and Neg for charging the battery at the track between runs. I got the idea from Chevykiller here a long time ago. It will read HYBRID above the connections.

Here is a shot of how the fuel cell hose setup will run. I just need to order more -8 line and some bulkheads to go through the floor of the trunk.

Billy im in awe man. That is some killer work.
Thanks, I am ready to go REALLY fast this year!

Hell, I was looking at all that heavy ass interior the other night and thinking about what it all must weigh... LOL

This may be the year the "street car" that runs like a race car gets retired and turns into a "race car" that can drive on the street.
