My 285/35-19s came in today. I was too busy fucking up my brakes on my bike to go get them mounted though.

Prepping for some good rear spring upgrade with the adjustable spring perches and BMR Rear LCA bearings.

Started test fitting tonight. Square or staggered? Ran into issues with square. I will need a spacer for gt500 calipers. Also, center cap won't fit because of bearing grease cap. Then with a spacer I am afraid I will need to run too much camber to look flush. Lastly, I want same size tires, but I don't want smaller than 295/30/20 out back.. I don't think front will run it without ghetto trimming..

Those will look classy when it’s all said and done, make sure to post finished pictures! Also, red truck out in the street looks like fun too!

What is the offset on those?
I thought they were 40mm which should fit. Might only need a small 5mm or so spacer.
As far as the grease cap, u can usually tap it down with a small hammer to flatten it out, might give you enough clearance to put the center cap on.

Will do and thank you.

Yea, that red truck is a single owner, believe or not!

These are +38, but I am with you, I feel it would work. I have seen +40 10" wheels on the front of gt500's. Running bigger brake kits in the future is what has me scared.

Super stiff bushings. I had to use a ball joint press on mine to get them in the links...have 2 people handy putting the bushings on the bar.

Bwaaahahahahaaaa!!!!

On topic, I got my MMD rims (the ones in my sig pic) back on the car after running my factory Bullitt rims for a few months. I went with 285/35s because I wanted something a little shorter than the old 275/40s and they are almost exactly the same size. Oh well, I forgot how much I like these rims over the stockers.

Ordered a new MAFia so I can get the car back on the road. Took the old one apart and found that the pins in the connection were corroded and the power supply pin must have been broken and making intermittent contact.
