No doubt. A given size flows more w pressure, but pumps always seem to flow almost exponentially better w less head pressure. Sucks it works in opposites lol

I picked up a heat exchanger and innercooler pump from a 2014 GT500. Both pump and exchanger are considerably larger than the 07-12 GT500 parts. I will sent the pump to DOB for some actual test data!
Did DOB ever get the '13 gt500 pump tested?
Nope, it's been elevindy billion deg below zero up here, LOL
Is that roughly how much your intercoolers cool down the intake temp?
Hah
I'm ready to see the 2013/14 GT 500 pump results. Since I can't have an R Spec I need to now if I can help my poor little Whipple HO setup any....
How are you measuring the flow? The Meziere 55gpm pump only flowed 27gpm through 16' of 1 1/2 hose. No IC, no HE.
Actually NONE of the pumps ran what they were supposed to.
I don't trust ANY pump claims.

I will say that Pierburg pump used in the 13/14 GT500 is a huge improvement over the earlier Bosch pumps. With the Bosch pump, flow inside the resivoir was a "ripple". Install the Pierburg pump and flow inside the tank looks like a jaccuzzi. Not the scientific flow data your looking for, but visually there no question the Pierburg flows "a lot" more than the Bosch.
Sounds promising. I think I will order one of the pumps along with brackets to go with the Afco heat exchange I bought from DiMora.
bout time someone finally picked that thing up, was a stealSounds promising. I think I will order one of the pumps along with brackets to go with the Afco heat exchange I bought from DiMora.
Why not wait for real data? I'll be testing more pumps come spring. Then you will know what the best option is.
because IMPATIENT + RACECAR!
