All the work under the car is done except the TQ converter bolts and the lower wiring harness. I should be ready to start tomorrow night with the exception of priming the motor and putting the fuel sending unit back in the tank. I should start on Thur. or Fri.

Getting closer!

I always have doubt till the first 7k pull is done. Its like I just drank a bottle of milk that has expired! LOL

I was the same way when i first started my new engine. Im sure i'll have the same feeling when i hit the dyno at 18+ psi.

It will start and run fine.

I know, that's just how I feel every time.

Mines at 25 psi and spins to 7500, how do you think I feel! LOL

And now Im going to spray it within days after it starts!

Im sure it will be fine, I just always doubt myself.

Should be done tomorrow and crank it up on Friday evening after a double check on everything.

Also going to look into some lines tomorrow for the meth/water lines under the intake. I don't like the plastic ones under there.

Isn't it alot easier working on a car when everything is so clean?

Another reason why I keep mine so clean to is after a pass, lift the hood, and if there is any oil or fluid anywhere, you can immediately look for where its coming from.

Yes it is a lot easier when you're working with clean stuff. Also just overhauling the motor and not reinventing the wheel makes it a lot easier. When you are reassembling something that has already been blue printed you don't have to check near as much.

DONE!

Just need to prime the motor, add water, install the sending unit with the Walbro 255 mounted to it in the gas tank, and add fuel. I will have to wire the pump next weekend.

Starting it up tomorrow night to seat the gaskets and go for my first drive Sat. morning and do some high revs and decels to seat the rings. Then after lunch I will do some WOT pulls data logging to make sure everything is working well.
