Cams/heads, or go straight for blower?

My M90, in Canada, was $5k for the 2010 model.( it was $5K in the usa). At the time, here in Canada, they could not give em away. The 11+ cars make 447 rwhp with just LT's and a 93 tune. Total plug and play. The 2010 version had the new plug and play wiring harness, no splicing or anything else. You start adding up all the bits and pieces, etc, etc, and it fast turns into a gong show...then all the custom made brackets etc. I also looked at the edelbrock, but their tune did not touch the automatic tranny. Unless the auto tranny is tuned, the poor 5r55s will not last long. The shifts have to be firmer..and faster, or it will not survive. I also looked at the bigger Roush TVS-2300 kits, but none of em were for the automatic. The oem rods in the 4.6 are like pretzels sticks, so did not want to push my luck. That was all back in the summer of 2011.
